When one thinks of
"Ben Affleck" the first thing that comes to mind is a
'Hollywood' hunk not a man that has several
"tattoos" covering his shoulders. arms and back. Most people are not aware of Ben's little
"tattoo collection", the main reason behind that is Ben is ashamed of his ink now. He admits he got most of his ink when he was around 16 and wishes he would not have chosen half of the designs he did.
"Ben Affleck" (born Benjamin Geza Affleck-Boldt, August 15, 1972) is an American actor, film director and screenwriter. He became known in the mid 1990s, after his involvement in the film Mallrats (1995) and later played the lead role in Chasing Amy in 1997. Affleck has since become an Academy Award winner for his screenplay in Good Will Hunting in 1997. He has established himself as a Hollywood leading man, having starred in several big budget films, such as
'Armageddon' (1998),
'Pearl Harbor' (2001),
'Changing Lanes' (2002),
'The Sum of All Fears' (2002) and
'Daredevil' (2003). After a high profile relationship with actress
'Gwyneth Paltrow' in 1998, his relationship with actress/singer
'Jennifer Lopez' attracted worldwide media attention in which Affleck and Lopez were dubbed as
“Bennifer”. Following their breakup in 2004, he began dating Jennifer Garner. The two married in June 2005 and have two daughters, Violet, born December 2005 and Seraphina, born January 2009. Affleck has been actively involved in politics, along with a non-profit organization called the A-T Children’s Project. Along with childhood friend, Matt Damon, they founded the production company LivePlanet.
Ben Affleck was born in Berkeley,
'California', the son of Christine Ann Chris, a school district employee and teacher, and Timothy Affleck, a drug counselor, social worker, janitor, auto mechanic, bartender, and former actor with the Theater Company of Boston. Affleck’s mother attended Harvard University and currently teaches in Cambridge Public Schools. His younger brother is actor Casey Affleck. Affleck has Irish and Scottish ancestry. His family moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts when he was very young and his parents divorced in 1984. At the age of eight, Affleck met ten-year-old Matt Damon, who lived two blocks away. The two would later attend Cambridge Rindge and Latin School together, although they were in different year groups. Affleck attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, as well as the University of Vermont. Affleck worked as a child actor, appearing on the PBS kids’ series The Voyage of the Mimi as well as in several made-for-television movies.
"Ben Affleck" is highly fascinated with
"tattoos" since his young days. When he was only sixteen years old, he had his first tattoo. Presently, he has around six tattoos on his body. We look forward to see much more creative work from this fantastic actor/director in the coming months and years.

- Barbwire across his right bicep. He has got barb wire tattooed on his right bicep long ago when he was in college. There was a rage for his "barbwire tattoo" when he initially came into the Hollywood lime light. It is a very delicate simple looking barbwire. It sure looks manly so no doubts about he copying Pamela Anderson.
- A dolphin located somewhere on his body covering up the name of his High School Sweetheart. He has many "shoulder tattoos", one of the most "famous tattoos" being his high school sweethearts name. He later on covered it up with a ‘Dolphin Tattoo’. A "dolphin tattoo for a guy" like Ben, there is something missing. This can be rated the worst tattoo of Ben.
- A huge cross on his left arm. The "arm tattoo"! There is not one guy who doesn’t have an arm tattoo and Ben Affleck is no weak man. He loves flaunting his arms and to make them more manly, he has got a huge cross tattoo done on his left arm.
- A fish intertwined with a "skull" and "crossbones" on his right arm. Not to forget his other hand which has got the "tattoos" of a fish which is intertwined in a skull and two cross bones. This is a colored tattoo which has many colors that make the tattoo look bright and vibrant. The fish is the center piece in the tattoo and gives a very cool look to it.
- The initials "OV" on his shoulder blade with MOH NON TE written above it and TA OR underneath it. He has got the initials OV on his shoulder blade and also MOH NON TE above the initials and TA OR underneath the initials. The "meaning" of the "tattoo" is not quite clear but it sure looks like he dedicated it to someone.
Ben Affleck regrets all of his "tattoos" and does not have a problem admitting it. He is even interested in getting his
"tattoos" removed by a laser. Ben also says that he tries to stay away from roles that require him to be shirtless or wear short sleeves because he hates the make up you have to wear to
"cover up tattoos". He states that the process is very time consuming and a little strange. It's the equivalent of being sand-blasted, but it leaves the
"tattoo" undetectable.

Ben Affleck has many
"tattoos" including the names of his
"love" ones to ass of his best friend. He says he regrets his tattoos now but he does have some favorite ones too. The main reason Ben is ready to get rid of his
"tattoos" has to do with his acting. They get in the way of my being able to play someone else. Every time I'm sitting in a makeup chair or putting on a costume I'm reminded I'm me, not the person I'm supposed to be playing.
